ARE YOU MY BROTHER? is a story is about Oscar Iglesias, a 47-year-old Puerto Rican tattoo artist in North Carolina, who is searching for his biological father — who he happens to share with director Daniel A. Nelson. The ensuing year chronicles the experience in real time with Oscar and the rest of Nelson’s family, as they meet for the very first time.

The film will premiere at DOC NYC on November 16, 2024.
