When Puerto Rican tattoo artist Oscar Iglesias sets out to find his biological father, he finds a brother in filmmaker Daniel A. Nelson — and a fleeting chance at belonging before his sudden death.

The film premiered at DOC NYC in 2024 and was amended in June 2025 after Oscar’s death.

A GoFundMe is setup to help Oscar’s wife, Mel, with expenses related to Oscar’s death, as well as her battle with Stage 4 Melanoma.
